Whether your child is new to dance or already loves to move, this is a great opportunity to learn, build confidence, make friends, and connect with culture through music and dance.

 Exciting Announcement for Friends of the Cuban Arts Members! 

We’re thrilled to share that, as part of your membership benefits, we have available funds for our Emergency Support Program and Culture/Dance/Sport Assistance Program from April 15, 2026, to October 1, 2026!

 Emergency Support Program: If you’ve faced unexpected challenges such as health issues, loss, or unforeseen events, we encourage you to apply. Priority will be given to those in urgent need.

 Culture/Dance/Sport Assistance Program: We’re dedicated to supporting the youth in our community! Members can receive assistance for registration fees for cultural, dance, or sports programs for children aged 2-18.

We’re proud to share that the Papa Mambo Quintet has been invited to perform at the 41st International Jazz Plaza Festival in Havana, Cuba!

Last year, out of 179 musicians from around the world, only one Canadian was represented. We know we can do better — and this year, we will!

It’s an incredible honor for Winnipeg and Canada to have Papa Mambo showcase our homegrown talent at such a prestigious international event.

To help make this dream a reality, Friends of the Cuban Arts Inc. is organizing a special fundraising event to support the group with travel and participation costs.

 Join us for a night of music and dancing!
