We’re proud to share that the Papa Mambo Quintet has been invited to perform at the 41st International Jazz Plaza Festival in Havana, Cuba!
Last year, out of 179 musicians from around the world, only one Canadian was represented. We know we can do better — and this year, we will!
It’s an incredible honor for Winnipeg and Canada to have Papa Mambo showcase our homegrown talent at such a prestigious international event.
To help make this dream a reality, Friends of the Cuban Arts Inc. is organizing a special fundraising event to support the group with travel and participation costs.
